Complex Trauma Recovery  Coaching

WHY ARE COMPLEX TRAUMA RECOVERY COACHING AND GRIEF COACHING IMPORTANT?

According to the American Psychological Association (APA), trauma is “an emotional response to a terrible event like an accident, rape, or natural disaster,” and the higher the level of trauma, the more potentially damaging the effects, and the more likely the development of PTSD.  Grief is “the anguish experienced after significant loss, usually the death of a beloved person, and often distinguished from bereavement and mourning. Research shows that most people can recover from loss on their own through the passage of time if they have social support and healthy habits.”

A final Thought

You are not alone. I deeply believe that we should not grieve alone without hope.

My doctoral journey has never been easy. My life knowledge provides me with compassion and empathy for individuals struggling with their unique grieving journey.

I never considered my experience tragic. Instead, I believe I have a beautiful story—the beauty of grief. I have developed new identities in different stages of transformation during my journey.

Yet, I've met many exceptional professionals who share the same values as I do. With their unfailing support, I can achieve my greatest dream of becoming a helping professional who is capable of providing a helping hand to those in need.

I look forward to seeing you in my coaching sessions and am eager to help you to create a meaningful life and, to imbue meaning to significant life events that are unforgettable.

Warmly,

Dr Ying Chu
