Journey
Dr. Chu's

Dr. Chu’s lifetime mission is to spread love to people around her and support grieving families. She has a heart for those who grieve for their loved ones. She was born in Hong Kong, China. She grew up in a humble family with an older sibling. She came to the United States when she was 14 and later learned that her mother had been diagnosed with congestive heart failure.

During her mother’s repeated hospitalization, Dr. Chu met her “angel” (a licensed clinical social worker) who inspired her to enter the helping professional world. Demonstrating her interest, she began her journey as a volunteer at a hospital in her community.  With this unique volunteering experience, she discovered hat she herself is not a miracle, but she can create miracles for others. She also believes that one should create miracles instead of waiting on them.

By her early 20s, Dr. Chu had already lost both of her parents. Ever since she has been committed to searching for the meaning of her parents' death and living a meaningful life. Through her unique journey of grief, she has developed a strong passion for inspiring others to reach their potential within their limitations and develop a success-driven identity, which is essential to achieving success in life.

Dr. Chu’s parents taught her that giving is a blessing. She kept this belief in her deepest heart and will continue to live the greatest legacy of her parents – “The gift of unconditional love!”

"Dr. Chu is so dedicated to her work and service to her clients. She is a skilled professional who possesses a range of talents in forensic work, severe traumatic physical and brain injury, and grief and loss. You will experience a warm, understanding, and supportive human being as well as a consummate professional."
